Subject:
Great voices of past
To hear Charlie's voice in his house that he built here in Newhall, California is very special. We live in "the house that Mack built."
We have tried to keep it as it was when he died. Hearing
these records in the house just brings it all together.
We have been searching for Mary Jane Mack and wondering about her for years? Have information to share.
We would like to hear from "esau54" the grand-child of Charlie Mack @ our e-mail address harris7330@sbcglobal.net (no others
PLEASE)

Two Black Crows
Charles Mack of Two Black Crows was my Great Grandfather. It's nice to be able to hear his voice. Politically incorrect but funny.

Subject:
Some call it racist, but I call it corny
The premise of these recordings may be very policically incorrect by today's standards, but if one didn't know Moran and Mack were a blackface minstrel duo, one would have a hard time figuring it out by listening to these recordings. They're funny, in a cornpone sort of way. The content is really pretty innocuous by modern standards.
My dad has original 78's of some of these, so it was fun hearing them again for the first time since adolescence and hearing 'new' material (at least new to me) for the first time ever.
